Microsoft ha empezado a enviar a los medios invitaciones para un evento relacionado con Surface en octubre.
Concretamente, la fecha que debéis apuntar en vuestro calendario de Outlook es el 2 de octubre. Esa es la fecha marcada por Microsoft para el evento en el que se podrán ver novedades en la Familia Surface.
Los rumores apuntan a que el esperado Surface Phone no sería anunciado, de hecho se rumorea que el proyecto puede estar suspendido o cancelado, por lo que es muy poco probable que veamos algo relacionado con smartphones en este evento. En cambio sí existe la posibilidad de que Microsoft presente la nueva categoría de dispositivos de pantalla plegable que se viene rumoreando, empezando por el conocido como Surface Andromeda, un dispositivo plegable que se podría usar a modo de Smartphone, o a modo de Tablet.
En cualquier caso, seguro que veremos las renovaciones de Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, Surface Book, e incluso Surface Studio. Además, será el momento ideal para anunciar la fecha definitiva para la actualización de octubre, la Windows 10 October 2018 Update.
El evento está programado para el próximo martes 2 de octubre a las 16:00 horas en Nueva York, que, si no me equivoco, serán las 22:00 en España, y las 15:00 horas en México.
