Xbox Series S, si vemos sus especificaciones y características, encaja con esa resolución y tasa de cuadros por segundo, ya que la consola alcanza hasta 1440p en juegos, con hasta 120 Hz, es decir, hasta 120 fps, por lo que tenía mucha curiosidad por ver qué tal funciona la pequeña consola de Microsoft configurada a 1440p y 120 Hz, y conectada al monitor de 144 Hz.

En el siguiente vídeo, podéis comprobar cómo se ven los juegos en Xbox Series S, destacando especialmente juegos como Gears 5, que está actualizado y mejorado para Xbox Series X|S y el resultado, como puedes ver en el vídeo, es espectacular.
También destaca las mejoras automáticas que realiza la consola con los juegos de Xbox y Xbox 360, pudiendo convertir los juegos de generaciones pasadas de resolución 720p a 1440p, mejorando la tasa de cuadros por segundo y con mejoras en el suavizado y reducción de dientes de sierra, entre otras.
Xbox Series S me parece una consola ideal para usar con monitor de resolución 1440p, o 1080p, de 120 Hz o más (144 Hz es lo habitual en monitores de PC, y es compatible con los 120 Hz de Xbox). De esta forma, el objetivo de rendimiento de la consola se iguala con las características de la pantalla.
Al no haber televisores de resolución nativa 1440p o QuadHD (QHD), los televisores ideales para Xbox Series S son los «full HD» o 1080p, pero no tengo constancia de ningún modelo 1080p de 120 Hz, por lo que a esa resolución, estaríamos limitados siempre a 60 fps.
Con un monitor de PC, además de tener un tamaño más acorde a esas resoluciones, es mucho más fácil y asequible encontrar modelos de 144 Hz compatibles con el modo de 120 Hz de Xbox.
