Windows 10 October 2018 Update llega con novedades y mejoras para todo el sistema, como por ejemplo:
Aplicación «Tu Teléfono»
Microsoft lanza esta aplicación para integrar nuestro teléfono Android con nuestro Windows 10 PC, permitiéndonos acceder a las fotos y mensajes de nuestro dispositivo desde Windows 10, de forma que podemos interactuar con los mensajes y las fotos del teléfono sin tener que estar cambiando entre el PC y el móvil, haciéndolo todo desde el PC.
Windows Timeline para teléfonos
En abril llegó Windows Timeline para PC, permitiéndonos ir atrás en el tiempo y ver el histórico de archivos y páginas web abiertas a lo largo del tiempo. Ahora, esta funcionalidad llega también a Android y iPhone, pudiendo ver el historial completo con la actividad realizada en cualquier dispositivo.
Integración de To-Do con Outlook.com y Skype
To-Do, la aplicación de Microsoft para organizar nuestras tareas ahora se integra con Outlook.com, permitiéndonos mover tareas de To-Do a Outlook.com, bloqueando en el calendario el tiempo necesario para completar la tarea. De la misma forma, al recibir un correo electrónico con una tarea asociada, podemos mover ésta directamente a To-Do.
En Skype, podemos seleccionar un mensaje y pulsar en «Crear tarea» para abrir el panel de tareas, desde donde podemos añadir y editar tareas, así como marcarlas como completadas.
Family Safety para Microsoft Launcher
Teniendo instalado Microsoft Launcher en nuestro dispositivo Android, y en los del resto del grupo de la familia Microsoft, configurados con las cuentas de cada integrante, los padres pueden por ejemplo ver la ubicación de sus hijos en todo momento o comprobar la actividad y el tiempo de uso de las apps del móvil.
Windows 10 October 2018 Update incluye otras mejoras, como por ejemplo en Inking, para poder editar por completo un documento de Word sin tocar el teclado, así como mejoras en la integración y uso de objetos 3D en PowerPoint.
